One of the best places for Sunday Roast

'Nestled on Old Church Street, The Pig’s Ear has been a local spot since 1870 and once tucked away inside you could be forgiven for thinking you’re in a country pub whereas you’re just a short walk from the smart streets of Sloane Square. It’s the restaurateur Gladwin Brother’s first pub venture, and they have created a menu that focuses on all of the good stuff. Standout starters include the freshest Jersey oysters served with apple shallot vinaigrette, their famous mushroom Marmite éclairs and devilled violet quail eggs with the crispiest pork crackling. The main course is served with seasonal vegetables from the Gladwin Brother’s farm, towering Yorkshire puddings and perfectly crisp and fluffy roast potatoes. You can choose from Sussex beef sirloin, Tamworth pork belly or whole chicken with morels and pancetta. Complement your meal with Sussex ales or wines from the Gladwins’ Nutbourne vineyard, thoughtfully paired throughout a carefully crafted menu. The chandelier-lit bar is home to roaring fires, board games, cosy seating and plenty of good people watching opportunities.'
